Beautiful, new, lightweight and warm Alpaca wool blankets/throw. Elegant blanket bright in strong colors of red and orange like fire and thin subtle lines in green.
These blankets are unique since are handmade.
Very smooth and warm.
Alpaca is 40% warmer than sheep’s wool, yet it wicks moisture away much more efficiently.
Alpaca items are hypoallergenic.
Materials are: 80% alpaca 20% acrylic.
** Please pay attention to the percentages. People have asked me about this. There are other blankets that are 90% and 10%, others are 100% alpaca or baby alpaca. That will change the softness and also the price of the blanket, so check around until you find what you like.
Size approximately: 90” x 60” or 230 cm x 165 cm so a Twin size. Size could vary slightly in each blanket because are handmade.
A little bit of info about these blankets, they come from Ecuador a beautiful country in South America. Because of the Andes elevations above 12,000 feet, alpacas have a highly warm soft wool. Alpacas are smaller than llamas.
For CARE: please think of these as cashmere, are very delicate so please dont wash them often, dry clean recommended. If you can and have space in your home wash them with cold water and let it airdry. To brush the hair you can use a clean shoe brush and gently follow the direction of the hair. Do not use harsh tools or detergents.
